Additional service

To ensure comprehensive service we offer clients an additional services eg. mechanical machining, painting, transport and associated service.

MECHANICAL MACHINING

Thanks to our modern machine park we perform mechanical machining of castings. For more details click here: http://odlewy.com/mechanical-machining/?lang=en

PAINTING

On request of the client, we paint the details in order to protect them against corrosion. This is done in a spray or immersion technology.

TRANSPORT

Depending on the needs and possibilities of the customer we accept two transport possibilities:

  • personal transport provided by the client
  • transport provided by the Simiński-Ordon Cast Iron Foundry based on constant cooperation with the transport company

ASSOCIATED SERVICES

Our goal is to provide the customer comprehensive services in execution of His order. We focus on flexibility and adapt to technical requirements sat by the Contractor. Therefore, beyond the basic service we cooperate with external companies, to provide associated services, like:

  • enamelling
  • KTL painting
  • powder painting
  • hot dip zinc plating
  • galvanizing

We cooperate just with reliable partners, because we are aware that the level of services provided by them may affect the final evaluation of the entire order and satisfaction of our client.

Our products

We encourage you to look closer to our offer of grey and ductile iron products:

GREY IRON

DUCTILE IRON

Carbon is present here in the form of graphite. Among the properties of cast iron include:

  • good fluidity
  • good machinability
  • high vibration reduction
  • high dimensional stability
  • good casting properties
  • relatively low manufacturing cost
  • good resistance to high temperature
Ductile iron is an alloy of iron and carbon, wherein carbon is present in the form of ball graphite. Among its features are:

  • high strength
  • good plasticity
  • good mechanical properties
  • less prone to stress concentration
  • good fluidity
  • good seal
  • good resistance to high pressure

Castings are made from iron of following grades:

  • EN-GJL – 150
  • EN-GJL – 200
  • EN-GJL – 250
  • EN-GJL – 300
Castings are made from iron of following grades:

  • EN-GJS – 400-18 LT
  • EN-GJS – 400-15
  • EN-GJS – 450-10
  • EN-GJS – 500-7
  • EN-GJS – 600-3

National Reconstruction Plan

Project title: Transformation of production processes towards Closed Circuit Economy through implementation of significant technological changes allowing optimization of material management at Siminski-Ordon Iron Foundry

The project involves the transformation of production processes towards a Closed Circuit Economy by implementing significant technological changes to optimize material management at the Siminski-Ordon Iron Foundry. The project will include the purchase of a horizontal CNC machining center, an industrial measuring machine, a crusher, a briquetting machine, a coolant oil separator, a hardness tester and a testing machine. The machining center will speed up production and reduce waste, especially parts that do not meet the customer’s specifications. An advanced quality control system will allow more accurate detection of defective parts, further reducing material losses. The purchase of a crusher and briquetting machine will enable the conversion of iron shavings and other production waste into secondary raw materials that can be reused in the casting process. The chips will additionally be cleaned of cooling liquid, which will facilitate their processing and reuse.

With the introduction of modern technology, the company will be able to significantly reduce the amount of materials that are considered waste. This reduction will include not only iron shavings generated during machining, but also other production items that were previously difficult to reuse. The purchase of equipment, such as a briquetting machine and separator, will enable a more complete utilization of available materials, transforming waste into valuable secondary raw materials. Such a strategy will not only reduce the company’s dependence on external suppliers of primary raw materials, but also increase its flexibility in adapting to changes in the raw materials market.

Expenditures made under the project will include the purchase of machinery and equipment necessary to transform Siminski-Ordon Iron Foundry’s production processes towards GOZ.
